Celebrating 30!!

Throughout my 29th year, I had been preparing myself for the time when I would be turning thirty. I began a mantra of turning " Thirty & Fabulous!" I believe that this positive thinking lead to a most awesome celebration of living 30 fabulous years on this Earth!

It started on Thursday, July 28 with a bowling party that was...well...fabulous!

Held at

It was the lounge that elevated the scene. Cool long couches accompanied by long coffee tables, and cool lighting features. They served beer, and fruity beverages, and yummy food.

Here is Ruben and I hanging in the lounge as we waited for our turn to bowl.

We had reserved 2 lanes for 2 hours of bowling. Here I am, the first to get the party started!!

My buddy Mike bowls his turn next to me!

Ruben and Jenna get ready to knock some pins!

This was our lounge area by our lanes. Pretty sweet!

Here is the score for the first round.

I thought I did OK, considering that I hadn't bowled in many years, and that I don't really know what I'm doing. :)

Lucky Strike Lanes was a very cool place to bowl!!

My friend Mike prepares himself before he launches the ball down the lane.

This is a group shot of the party all together.

Ruben, Me, Tina Louise, Mike H., Mike S., Meghan, Jenna and Tim!

We had a rockin' time!!

On July 29, 1981 I was born on my Granny's birthday. A very special experience celebrating our birthday's together!!

Here's to you Granny on your birthday!! I love you more than words!!!

My birthday was filled with such positive energy, and it stayed with me throughout the whole day!

My cousin Heather text me at 7:29 in the morning thinking of me. From there the love poured and continued to flow.

I received over 100 beautiful messages from friends on facebook! I couldn't believe the out pour of love for me!!

My Aunt Sandy left me a sweet message letting me know that our family was blessed on the day that I was born. A thought which still bring tears to my eyes.

My office surprised me with a fun afternoon rice crispy treat and Prosecco toast! They presented me with a super sweet card that everyone signed. It was really sweet!!

My co-worker buddy Scott gave me this awesome fish and bowl!!! Isn't he beautiful!

That evening Ruben and I had planned on doing a family style dinner, and inviting good company to join us in celebrating. I invited my one of my best friends, Sarah O, and two close work friends, Maureen & Charlie Reilly along with their son, Kyle.

Sarah took some balloon's that my friend Lucy had given me, and used them with some pictures of me as a kid to create a table centerpiece. She's so thought full! Such a sweet touch!!

Ruben was the chef that evening, and did an outstanding job! He prepared a roasted, seared pork loin medallions with mashed herb sweet potatoes. Served with a delicious Spanish wine!

It Was Delicious!!

While we ate, Kyle hung out in the living room, listening to his tunes. He and Nikon quickly became buddies, and hung out all night. :)

Maureen and Charlie brought me an awesome cupcake cake for my birthday!! It was a pound cake with a raspberry swirl filling!!!!! SO GOOD!!

For my birthday, Ruben got me a beautiful vintage watch!!

He also got me this stunning pearl necklace! I was so excited, that I wore it to the office this Monday to show it off. :)

If there's anything this birthday has taught me is this:

I AM BLESSED!!

I have been given the opportunity to live on this Earth and to do so in such amazing circumstances!

Thanks for following me on this journey, and for giving me your love and support!
